This diverse town has a lot of unique topographies, exclusive communities, and public activities that attract an array of residents who choose make this beautiful town their home. Encinitas was established back in 1986 drawing together these communities.

Old Encinitas

Old Encinitas is a beachside area that has a great variety of housing and businesses along Highway 101 such as retail shops, yoga studios, flower shops and restaurants that give character to the town.  Along the water you will find several stairways on the cliffs that lead you to the beautiful beaches where you can enjoy them year round.

New Encinitas

Within New Encinitas, also known as Green Valley, you will find a newer region of larger tract homes, elegant-gated communities, newer shopping centers and impeccable golf courses. These features have attracted many established homebuyers because of the appealing atmosphere the community gives. New Encinitas region is a wonderful area if you are looking for a higher-end community while still having beaches nearby.

In Olivenhain you will find larger homes on acre sized lots placed within the rural inland area with several private equestrian facilities and homes. Though this community is a bit more inland, it still has easy access to the wonderful coastal beaches.

Named after a Greek island and meaning “sheltered paradise,” Leucadia is a beautiful beachside neighborhood home to nearly 7,000 residents. Leucadia is an older beach community with a rustic small – town feel, marvelous art galleries and matchless restaurants. This metropolitan area has easy access to the beach, highway 101 (Pacific coast highway), Interstate 5, and all its amenities.

Cardiff by the Sea

Cardiff by the Sea is a charming city within Encinitas that features a beach community of quaint homes on the hillside.  Uniquely enough, it has it’s own zip code. With its great location, the towns “walkability” to the beach, restaurants, markets, and other great amenities attract many residents.
